Sumner Danbury Parents and Colleagues

Thank you for welcoming me to your wonderful school to meet the great teachers, staff, and students. We enjoyed a fun morning together through music. I would like to share more about music therapy and its benefits for autistic and neurodivergent students as well as provide resources below for parents and teachers of Sumner Danbury.

About Mewsic Moves:

John Mews, LMFT, NMT is CEO and founder of Mewsic Moves established in 2004.

For over 20 years John has been supporting clients with neurologic conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, speech & communication disorders, dementia/alzheimers, parkinson's disease and more.

In 2017 John completed his advanced training in Neurologic Music Therapy and then in 2022 he completed his licensure as a marriage a family therapist.

John is passionate about supporting the entire family in the process of therapeutic rehabilitation and overall quality of life.

Mewsic Moves also has an amazing team that is well versed and skilled in working with clients with neurologic conditions and are also trained and specialize in neurologic music therapy.
