About Mewsic Moves

Mewsic Moves has been serving individuals and families through music therapy and counseling since 2004. We support children, teens, adults, and families with neurodiverse, intellectual/developmental, neurologic, and mental health needs across Greater Los Angeles.

What our Music Therapists do

Depending on role and schedule, our music therapists in Los Angeles and Orange County may:

  • Provide individual and group music therapy in a concierge model (travel between homes/facilities/program sites)

  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear goals and measurable objectives

  • Develop creative, strengths-based curricula and interventions

  • Support programming connected to mental health and wellness (as applicable)

  • Maintain timely documentation, notes, and data collection

  • Participate in team meetings, consultation, and professional development

  • Represent Mewsic Moves with strong ethics and professionalism with clients, families, and partner agencies

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking qualified music therapists who are:

  • Warm, personable, and professional

  • Confident musicians with strong skills in voice, piano, and guitar

  • Comfortable facilitating both 1:1 sessions and groups

  • Flexible, creative, and collaborative

  • Passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families

  • MT-BC is preferred, but not required

We welcome:

  • Non–MT-BC therapists (with the expectation and support to become certified within the first few months)

  • Interns who have completed required educational coursework and are working toward certification

*We provide music therapy services from Monday to Saturday. However, for certain clinical roles, Saturday availability and driving are mandatory. We will discuss your availability during the interview process.
