Nam Kim
With respect, empathy, and faith, Nam has tried to motivate clients to unlock the potential for growth of each client. Nam has clinical experiences with various populations such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism, stroke, and dementia. She also experienced a collaborative work environment with other professionals such as physical or occupational therapist that maximize the clients’ functional outcomes.

She uses clinical skills to adapt or extend both to provide strong motivation for clients to participate in the music therapy session and to make therapy sessions more dynamic. She is also a multi-cultural person and has open-mind toward diverse cultures with a capacity of broad comprehension.

Everyday, she is learning an important lesson about how music influences people in a good way. As a music therapist, she believes not only the power of music and its facilitation but also particularly value the people’s growth throughout the lifespan.
