Established in 2004 and serving the Metro Vancouver region, Mewsic Moves is a company dedicated to improving the quality of life of its clients who live with daily challenges caused by brain injury or developmental disorders.

In practicing music therapy, the company and its therapists incorporate music and musical elements into specifically designed programs to address communication, memory, cognitive, learning, self and emotional regulation, and social programming needs. Sessions are held in one-to-one settings between the client and therapist, or can be done in a group environment. Program goals are established following initial assessment, and are revised as progress is achieved.

Like company founder John Mews, therapists are educated and trained in the most advanced music therapy principles, and are experienced in working with clients from a diverse range of background and challenges. Programs are conducted in a trusting environment, where all clients feel safe to expand their limits and reach their maximum potential.
